I have seen the contracts and you can pretty much buy the parts for the same price by yourself. Ask them how much for the HKS turbo kit, then check out how much you can buy it for. BIGG time scam. This is on all the boards ie. honda-tech.com is one that comes to mind.

damn dude if i could remember the guys name that i dealt with i would have you call him, he was very helpful, good guy, really nice and didn't hassle me at all. I had already also filed a claim with my bank so that helped, so thats what i suggest you do to is file a claim and you will get your money back easily.

yuuup big time scam, even if you get that 55% sponsorship, you're still paying retail price so they make money off you. Search every car forum you can, and you'll see similar "sponsorship" scams. Hope you didn't pay the guy.

yah now its startin to sound shady...although they told me if they can not beat the price i can get."wholesale" b/c i work at a garage.....they will still pay 55%, now lets see if they are legit about that....i doubt it, but we'll see. I have two friends with the same sponsorship....we all refer to it as the "priceclub" sponsorship. meaning we pay to get in and we save a couple $$ here and there.

shows, racing, autox, drag.... if you accel/stand out. they want you. you have to make them want you not you want them. Once they see you're good at it, they will have no problem giving you money... eg. ( street glow ) the driver on the solara was a privatere... but once street glow got him, now hes famous, can't remember his name tho...
