Also thank you for changing your story 300 times. First it was $300 shipped on evom.net (a group buy). Then he said he saw it in the private for sale thread. Then he said he saw it on norcalevo.net. Then he said he saw it on Ebay. Then he said It wasn't a group buy - it probably was a single sale.

I can see this going in the same direction as the Evo 7 tail light group buy if this happens.

There's a reason the MR tail lamp Group Buy payment has to be via check or money order. Credit Card and PayPal suck up fees. $300 sent through PayPal turns in to $291 when it gets to the other end. That turns in to a lot of money "lost" when you do this in large numbers(start on Post #90).

Only allowing one person to do a PayPal or Credit Card payment isn't exactly fair, and ends up being a big pain in the ***(start on Post #300).

Group buys aren't for an individual to profit. Anyone can approach a vendor with the possibility of a Group Buy. All the vendor needs is a shown interest in a product to be able to the deal that is wanted. Check out the DC Sports Titanium Strut Bar Group Buy that Z1 Auto is doing. I talked to Adam and showed interest in these things, told him that tons of Evo owners would like to get some titanium strut bars at half the price of the Cusco ones, and the Group Buy was born. What did I receive in return for this? I got to buy the strut bars at the Group Buy price. That's it. Oh, pics of my car are on the Z1 website now as well.

 

Adam at Z1 Auto has a Vendor Sales Rating of 60 on this forum alone. About half of those were from a Group Buy that he did in which he only allowed check or Money Order as a form of payment.


I think he is trustworthy enough, based on that alone....

 

Adam from Z1 and Joel (Yellowfever) are very trustable.....

 

I cannot fathom how anyone is doing an MR tail light GB for $300 - arguably no one imports more of these than we do, and we pay alot more than $300 per pair...would love to see the thread where its mentioned (I searched but could not find it).

Anyway, we have 4 sets left available, priced at $370 shipped in the 48 states. These will be shipped starting Tuesday when we are back in the office

YellowFever is NOT getting anything out of this FYI (except MR tails at a kick *** price) - he is a customer and friend, but does not work for us. We were chatting on IM last night after he bought one of the cams we have on special, and he mentioned about working something out on these lights. So we have a few sets left we figured we'd discount to get them outta here.
