which intake?

Hey Im planning to get either the Arc induction box or the HKS racing suction. Please tell me which one has showed better performance gains. I know its still minor but im stuck. I like both and just need to ask people.

I have the HKS. Its decent. ...Kinda gets annoying, cause its so loud.

If i recall, i think the arc has problems...maybe someone else can confirm or deny this.

i got an HKS RS intake, and just installed it earlier this week, its a great intake, i'm actually getting a dynoflash this coming monday, for a TBE, intake, fuel pump, and i have to say the HKS is a pure joy. it greatly inhances the stock bov... as for it not having good gains thats a lie, because before intake i raced my wrx buddy from a roll and he has 330 crank hp, and he would be ahead by a few inches, after intake ( tested last night ) i am ahead by a foot, so yes it does increase hp...

I couldn't find the link, but Al at Dynoflash has dyno results of the HKS RS Intake adding 11whp when tuned with his ECU flash.
I bought the HKS RS and like it so far, no complaints other then to wish the filter was washable and reuseable.

I have the HKS suction. It sounds awesome. It is a little loud, but it really makes the stock BOV whoosh pretty darn good. I like it. Dont know about performance gains cause It was on there when I got the car.

The link to where AL stated the whp gains from the HKS RS intake and tune, not the one you posted.

My mistake...

with tune and heavy mods the intake really helps on high end and bit of low end torque.

However, if you're not doing a lot of work on your car, then stock ram air is the best way to go.

And really, the hks intake is fairely loud on wot.

But from what I heard, people who tried most intakes out there said they lost 2 to 3 whp on dyno.
