Ok. Ive decided on the Defi D-Series gauges and have been using the boost gauge for a month or so now. Well, i got my gruppe-s pod for x-mas and now i have to pick 2 other gauges. Choices are Temp, EGT, Oil Press, Fuel Press, A/F......

Now, i am planning on getting a datalogging wideband soon, so i don't think i need a/f or EGT.....

but here is my question....

do any of you guys know if these gauges can be modded? i REALLY want an intake temp gauge, but i think autometer is the only manufacturer that makes them and i didn't want autometer gauges. so, do you think the water temp gauge could be wired to some pyrometer type sensor in the intake to read temp? maybe like a water temp gauge with an EGT sensor?????

also, can the regular a/f gauge be wired to a bosch type wideband o2 to get REAL readings???? i might go for the a/f gauge if i can pay extra and weld in a wideband o2 sensor to run it to.

Do any of you have any answers???

If i can't mod the gauges to monitor what i want, i will probably just go with water temp and oil pressure.
