Yup, some punks just tried to paintball the evo/me. I just got home and moved the evo back behind the house, when I heard a quick burst from a paintball gun. I didnt really notice what it was at first but all of a sudden a paintball burst about 2 feet away from me right next to the car. I looked to the area where I thought the shots came from and saw 3 people running from a house that was down and across the street. Unfortunately, from where they were, I would had to jump about 4 pretty tall fences to get at them. By the time I would have gotten over 2 of the fences they would be long gone. So I ran in and called the cops and got a flashlight to see what damage they did.
When I came back out I found 3 busted paintballs all around the car. Some paint was splattered on the right front bumper as well. Also, when I went back out, I noticed that the house where the shots came from now had there lights off. When the officer arrived I told him what happend and about the lights etc. He then ran over to their house and talked to some lady. She said that her son and her friends have paintball guns, but that her son was not home at the moment. She said that it was probably some of her sons friends who did it, and she would be getting ahold of their parents tonight. (yeah right)
I am so damn pissed right now. I mean I bust my *** for umpteen years of school to get this car, and then some a$$hole decides it would be funny to shoot my car with a paintball. If there is even a scratch on my car in the next month I am nailing them. I hate to pull a powertrip, but you dont shoot the assistant district attorney's car.

get a real gun and next time they try that, shoot back with the desert eagle. Tell em you were defending yourself.

Damn losers. Yeah, I had some middle aged S-Class owner try to step out of line on the freeway onramp earlier today. I was driving ever so cautiously having picked up my GF's brother from LAX. Some people just cannot handle looking at an EVO. He attempted to swoop around me after tailgating just a few inches from the behind. I guess that's how he likes it. Anyways, I hit the brake lights for a few seconds to calm his uncontrolled nerves, then simply put it in forth with a slight push on the throttle, only to leave him attemping to catch up. He then proceeded to get in back of another car, never attempting to step up again. But then of course an M3 blows by me right when I get situated in the cruising speed of 5th gear. Puah, like I'd waste my gas on THAT type.

 

yeh, not to kill but scare the **** out of them. I'm sure they wont do it again.

Oh I think having four cop cars pull up in your driveway can have that effect as well. I made a few calls to some of my officer friends that I have met while being an ADA. I was lucky one of them was on call.

 

Get a shotgun, get some shells and take out the pellets and replace them with rocksalt, then load them up and blast away. Nonlethal but very painful.

Well if you don't like the desert eagle idea.....just pick up a Tippmann F/A (full auto) paintball gun. They fire 20 paintballs per second in full auto mode and can fire pretty damn hard. For added fun get a nitrogen setup on the gun as opposed to Co2 and turn the pressure way up..they'll never know what hit them.

 

My Audi got shot up by a paintball gun once by my brothers roomate. He didnt know it was my car but I was going to kill him when I found out it was him. My brother pleaded for me not to hurt him because the kid felt really bad and was apologetic and I trust my brother's judgement. Needless to say I still get the shakes when I see him. His whole frat house was trying to calm me down when it happened. I doubt he will do that again.

 

Shooting ME with a paintball gun is one thing, but if anybody ever shot my car with one, I'd bust out some Al-Qaida **** on their asses.
