Mitsu boost gauge vs. defi bf gauge

Ok for the last 2 months i thought i had a boost leak in my brand new 05 MR, on the stock boost gauge i was boosting up to 1.0 max tappering off to .7, .6

Today I finished installing the defi bf amber boost gauge and went for a drive it was boosting to 1.5 and tappering to 1.3 or so, NOW thats NORMAL , Im happy to see that my car boosts correctly on this gauge

So i guess the stock mitsu boost gauge is brokeN??? weird b/c its new.....anyways....what should I do with the mitsu gauge you think theyll give me a new one if I take it bacK? would they make up stupid excuses to not to be held responsible for giving me a broken boost gauge on my new car.

yours reads like the opposite of mine, mine reads high. i blast mine over 1.5 and it is only like a 22 spike with a taper to 19. it just rips past 1.5 and never drops back
