Well I have the 03 evo and I just need help deciding whether to trade my car in for the MR or just to wait for the IX. Does anyone know when that is planning to come out? Well just wanted to get some ideas...

Wait for the IX. I am waiting for the IX...maybe the second or third year of the IX so they can get the bugs worked out of the new MIVEC mill.

Yeah but the IX isnt suppose to have the mivec anyway? isnt it cus they are planning on putting it on the 10... Well what year evo are u driving?

No way! dang i really thought it was pushed to the 10th evo. Oh well then that sounds good then...

i heard the 9 coming out in spring of 06' I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

i heard the evo IX is coming out this year in 05'. just a rumor though. i also heard that the evo IX is getting a form of MIVEC. some kind of cam or valve controller, but not the same thing that the ralliart is running. whatever it is was supposed to give 20% more power in the low and mid rpm range.

 

dude spring is not that far man! i can wait that long it would be more worth it to wait for it then to trade it in for an 05 and loose a lot of money....
