Question about the evolution of the Evo

If the rumors are true, the Evo IX will have somewhere north of 300 HP, and the Evo X, maybe more than the IX. So is it safe to assume that one, they are going to get significantly more expensive and two, that they are going to become less and less fuel efficient. OR, is it possible that Mitsu engineers will ingeniously determine ways to extract more power while using the same or less fuel. Do not disparage me for caring about gas consumption. It is a practical concern for some of us. Any thoughts?

Do you know when these are arriving here in the United States? The MR just came out so I don't see how its possible for them to be releasing more models anytime soon...

How in the world do you manage that? I'm extremely interested in which modifications improve power AND mileage at the same time.

You must mean like 23mpg. I'm averaging around 20ish and I'm bone stock.
