Did you install a rear bumper heat shield? If not then did your bumper turn black? Need to confirm if the Greddy Ti exhaust does turn your bumper black.

Yes, you will notice some soot around the exhaust area, however I had the same thing with the stock exhaust too. I didn't like the looks of the heat shield so I don't have one. Just wipe it down once a week and it is ok. If you have a white car you may want a heat shield as the soot will be more noticeable.

Almost all exhausts turn your bumper black. The Greddy is a great piece, but it is way to short.

I had it on my car before I was rear-ended and I had a heat shield. Now I have the same exhaust (insurance bought me a new one) and I have a 1" spacer put in and it clears the bumper now. No soot and no heat shield.

Yes, my white RS' rear bumper is black, as a result of the Greddy titanium exhaust and the fact that I am running rich. I need a heat shield. Where do you get one?

When you say it turned a bit black is that with a cat or not? So even if it does turn black it can be removed by washing it?

I have a stock exhaust (still) but I still get soot on the bumper. Try Mother's Clay Bar, it will take it out over time.

Have you compared the sound of the Greddy exhaust with another brand exhaust from the inside of the car? Want to know how much louder the Greddy one is compared to the others.
