water problem?
water problem?
look at the pic if it start rainning looks like water gonna drop directly into the engine baY
i aint worry about the water on the hood flow down the vent cuz i'm sure they have a water direct path but what about the rain droping stright down? it seems the vent is stright open

It isn't straight cut. The vents being at an angle, and the hood being at one as well, the slats appear straight. Think about blinds on windows. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...light=negative It uses the same device as the VII just with a redesigned hood.
The vents actually guides the rain towards the front of engine bay. The rain actually comes down on the exhaust manifold and radiator. I have driven my ride in a Typhoon (Hurricane)..moderate winds and severe down pour...no problems
I have clean my engine bay on regular basis. I'm just careful of the intake, BOV and electronics..again no problems..just make sure the engine and the turbine are not hot. No LARGE amounts of water. You're cleaning an engine bay not watering the lawn

you could always fabricate a seal for the vent if it keeps you up at night.

Would I go to this extreme? No.
