Or you could think of it as the fastest evo sold for the least amount of money.

If you like to mod and don't need all the creature comforts, then go for the RS. I'm planning to pick up a WW '05 RS when my current car finally sells. The wife loves how there is no wing, it's quieter than my SRT-4 and the insurance is lower. I love everything else.

BTW...I can afford a GSR but an MR is a little much for my budget...so it's not all about money. I think you have to REALLY like driving to buy an RS. If you're more of a freeway commuter maybe one of the other trims is a better fit. Fortunately for me I have a dream commute through the foothills of the East Bay Area so my priority is a powerfull canyon car. I don't believe the Evo RS has any equals under $50k in that category.
