Thumbs up

starting this year everyone is entitiled to 1 free credit report per year. contact 1 of the credit bureaus directly

Trans Union
TRW/Experian
Equifax

find out which bureau is used most in your area for car credit & get that one. Good Luck!!

If you go to www.annualcreditreport.com you can get a report from the three agencies. You'll have to copy and paste the url, as they don't allow outside linking.

I also wanted to add that it is not in effect for all states at the moment. The site shows a map of states that can participate right now.

there are some sites like www.consumerinfo.com that are free and you also get free 30 day monitoring. There is a charge if you go over those 30 days. Its like a 30 day trial. hope that helps.

dear god and may I suggest you never use lendingtree.com they put a hurt on my credit. by having all kinds of banks look at your credit it really put a dent on mine. I'd use one of the free ones like others have suggested.
