Headlight alignment issues?

Does anyone notice that your headlight try to readjust themselves? I just turned mine on today and I hear the adjusting motors adjusting away this can't be good for them if it does this everytime u turn the lights on? Are these self leveling? It did not do this b4 I adjusted them up by hand.... What I am saying is I turned the lights on and heard them adjusting without me doing anything.

The drivers side seem to adjust to be even with the pass side.... WTF?

They're not auto-leveling, so you must have something wierd going on.

they are not autoleveling, but they do have a manual leveling feature. it should be to the left of your steering wheel, on the control panel board (on the dash, right next to your fog lights or dimming lights, depending on what year car you have).

Well some how the driver side knows that the passenger side is slightly higher and adjusts for it.... OR the driver side is slightly higher then the passenger side and adjusts for it... Some how the driver side knows something is up because it trys to make it right... If I go 1 click down they both go down then I go 1 click up they both go up but the driver side spazzes out and goes up and down a few times then it stops.

I lowered my car... So I had to adjust them up by hand because my in car adjustment was set to 0 meaning they will not go up any more. Since I adjusted them by hand about 2 weeks ago I never really noticed anything, tonight I noticed they spazzed out on me when I turned them on. Usually I start the car then turn the lights on so I never hear them but tonight I was looking at my running lights to decide if I should have the amber part taken out or not when I paint them black. So I just turned them on without the car running in my garage and the drivers side light went ape ****. Going up and down a few times and then it settled. So wondering what the hell just happened I turned the lights off waited turned them on nothing.... Turned them off waited turned them on nothing so I went down a few clicks with the in car adjustmend clicked them back up they both went down they both went up when they go to their final position the driver side went ape **** again... So It doesn't like something does it have a sensor linked to the passenger side so they auto level with eachother so one is not higher then the other?
