Question to all evo lovers, did anyone here happen to own a helix cat back? how did you guys bought it? online or from a store? how much did u pay?

Heres my problem.. i bought one thru a online store website. i paid $439 shipped for. and when i receive it.. the steel piping that connect to the muffler is not in it.(the one with 02 hole) but when i bought it is said steel piping included. it even't show in the picture. so then i email the website seller, and they reply me like this :

Hi - What steel piping? You ordered an exhaust system....you should have a cat back exhaust system.

Does it mean i won't be getting it? then where am i suppose to get the piping with the 02 hole to connect to the muffler and the High flow cat? so confuse..... don't want to list a website untill they reply me.. yeah.. waiting for reply i said!!
i call them.. they have two numbers... none of them have a representive to pick up the phone...

Well a catback should consist of the midpipe and axleback muffler section. The bung should be on the midpipe itself.


If you wanted a "turboback" then that would have a downpipe, the test pipe and then the catback. Maybe you were thinking turboback.

btw.. that's a good price for the catback... I should buy one.

 

your even more confusing. so your saying you only got a muffler? because there are no O2 pipes that connect to a muffler. like rsboy said, you will have a cat back section and a muffler section plus the hangers/gaskets/hardware and silencer. thats it. show us a picture of what you are talking about so we can see what you think you are missing.

 

lmao sorry to confuse u guys. iam missing the steel piping ( midpipe) but they contacted me and then reaslise some one in japan make a mistake. their distributor (gruppe-s) will be sending me just the pipe shortly. sorry bout the confusing post...... LOL
