AS for me evr1 has hit the nail on the head...customer service, better prices, and timely service..........as for me I am looking for the kinck nack type things for my EVO...as I am more about show than go.....so all the stuff the you can get as an option from JDM and EURO EVOS. would be great (THERE IS BIG MARKET FOR THIS) but we have no access as regular people, not like a shop or anything ..things like rear fogs, bumpers, interiror kits, RALLIART Guages, badging, all that stuff......or how about the hard to get shift knobs, E-Brake handles that MOMO or RAZO have.....but stuff you know already fits EVOS......not things that you get with no instructions and requir to hack up the car to get it on......I hope you get my point.

My business partner and i have been really researching hard on what to get... MOMO is on the top of the list., we have not really entertained the idea of RALLIART, but we will now.. Badging is must, being an evo owner myself the JDM evo badge ehanced the looks of the car. Also jdm, i'd assume you mean taillights and headlights, we are looking into this as well, because we all know, many of us LOVE the JDM look...

i want real physical data. for instance: i use my evo daily. i want an exhaust system that is reasonably quiet. well everyone says this and that is quiet, but they never compare it to stock exhaust. i want dB ratings for both inside and outside the car for stock, and for each aftermarket exhaust you sell, as well as the performance gain for that specific exhaust. and it has to be an absolutely reproducable test that you meter these values with so your not recording the aftermarket exhausts from 50 feet away and the stock from 2 feet. last, the specs on the testing procedure so i can be sure i'm not being bull ****ted. that would be the most detailed customer service ever and i would certainly buy stuff if they provided data like that.

same thing could go for intercooler pipes for pressure losses, and flow values.

and also for intake systems, flow values and particulate size that passes through... maybe intake temps and various speeds VS stock (accounting for ambient outside temps.)

and last, i don't want dyno data from someone making the part. it is a biased dyno in that case. i want a third party independent unbiased dyno charts for every part you sell. (ok, so that might be a little expensive, but you get the point. i like raw data, not rave reviews from people who like a product regardless of how it performs simply because they choose that product.)

you got it man... anything we can do to make anyones experience enjoyable... and i know what you mean, when i was looking for exhausts. they NEVER compared to stock exhaust... Dyno results will be hard for the Pittsburgh area, but that will no prohibit us from seeking a dyno outside the area... thanks for the insight...

KevinD took the words out of my mouth.

My input would be maintainence parts. Filters, gaskets, any helpful custom tools. I had to search high and low for replacement HKS filters. Lancershop was the only place I found with them. Maybe OE Mitsu oil filters and crush washers cheaper than dealer prices? How about OE Mitsu fluids (gear oil, etc.) in useful denominations, not the gigantic jugs that dealers sell.

yes HKS filters is what i had a problem looking for, for my Intake, we will do that, we have also discussed carrying motor oil, and filters... that would be a big big seller i believe.. royal purple, mobil 1, and such... As for oem products we can talk to the dealers and see what they say... thanks for the info...

There aren't many online distributors of the full line of Injen parts for the 8, but I have a dealer locally here that I can get those from, so just an idea, also somewhere that has LOTS of gauges and gauge-pods would be really nice so I could find a decent/cheap set-up without having to buy from a million different vendors and have 3 different gauges

"Newbie Evo upgrade step 1-2-3" suggestion section would be nice.
Street legallity info would be nice too..
for example, if we buy an exhaust from you, it would be best to get some kind of certificate to show that it's street legal and under the law so whenever the cop stops for the exhaust sound, we can show them something.

also some detailed installation info, etc etc..

I'll tell you one thing i WOULD LOVE to see, I don't know how doable though. In the computer world we have lots of benchmarks and performance tests on things such as video cards from one oem to another (ATi vs Nvidia for example). I would like to see alot more comparisons from one company to another so we know exactely what to buy and why with good controlled conditions and unbiased opinions. You combine that with great customer service and I think you'll own us all.
