Trading a car in for a new color? That's a little extreme.

Heck it is cheaper to just have the car repainted-- you'd save money over the rapid depreciation the car industry ensures after you drive off a lot to protect margins on their resale -- that is why they exist people.

Example: You buy an Evo for 30,000
Sell it back 1 month later: 25,000
Dealer resells it for 28 to 29,000

It preserves their profits. That is capitalism my friend.

they're doing a street value markup for the gray here. i was only able to get them to go down to the MSRP of the other colors.

i still can't believe that they were trying to get people to believe that MSRP was different for the graphite gray as opposed to the other colors.

Just a word about car salesmen...they love to tell stories...most of them aren't true...many of them are about the car you are looking at...the rest are just bullshiat...remember, they are car salesmen...liars, the lot of them...

wasn't the salesman, it was the lady at the finance desk. and living in NoVA, it sounds very plausible.
