I finally did my homework and got in on a little secret. The test US evo VII has 260 hp but there making the floor model with 250 so that not bad!
Trust me that's no bull****. How i came across this info well lets just say that my statement here was if i was talking to the president of mits himself!. U lancer fans will be offically notifed next 2 week!
I'm going to try to torcher this fellow some more. Maybe i can get some more info to u lancer peps! As soon as i get more i'll let u know!

Please do so. If this guy is for real try and find out whether the engine is internally the same and what parts have been altered to make it 250hp. Also, will the US version have AYC, ACD, etc.

Can you get confirm if the HP is gonna get boosted next year or not?

If the US Lancer Evo VII has only 250 HP and does not include the ACD or AYC, then I am cancelling my order and going right to a Subaru dealership and putting down a deposit for the STi. I hope it doesn't come to this though.

But once again I think I'm just gonna wait fer when it debuts at either/both the LA autoshow and the Detroit autoshow....we've had way too many "official/unofficial news" posts about the US specs. I've heard everywhere from 220 hp, no ACD or AYC, to pretty much the Jap-Spec version.

Only a couple weeks till we get hard pressed info....

- Turbo
- AWD, and
- Frontmount intercooler

Anything else is optional to me

The US gov't might have somethin to say about the frontmount intercooler. The 5 mph crash test rule and all might make 'em side mount.
