3600 miles and my shift knob is fading

I not sure if I am holding it too tight or im happy shifting all the time but the factory leather knob is starting the fade on the top especially the numbers

LOL, Don't worry brother mine is doing the same thing. It is just a piece of leather. There are a crap load of very nice looking after market aluminum etc replacements for it.

The leather was pressed into place, heat and pressure will take it out.

i doubt the facotry shift nob is real leather thats prlly why its fading
but i can't really tell since i have the factory alum nob and you are in taiwan right
the weather condition there might also be a factor

real leather fades. Most high end cars have real leather interiors and the seats fades also. maybe because I grab it mostly on the top of the knob

I would suggest getting an aftermarket shift nob to replace it but you'd probably void your warranty
