I just got my Evo a few weeks ago and im one of those A holes that double parks about a mile away from other cars.. ne ways.. I parked my car for the 1st time on the street at a friends house last night and today when i was looking at my car i saw the front ground effect was hanging down... I thought that maybe it got knocked out of place from the snow then i looked up and the entire bumper is scraped all to hell and cracked in half.... Some ******* backed into my car and must have just took off.... Havent even had the car a month and this happens... People need to learn how to drive... I hope i can figure out who did it... I will post pictures tomorrow...... How many people has this happend to?

 

I've had that happen to me. I was in a lab at the university and some jackass either backed into, or ran into my car and just left. I got a dent in my rear quarter panel, been almost a year and I can't be bothered to fix it.

 

I got one up on you. Had the car since Christmas. Coming back from my brothers apartment on some dark roads, I hit a deer. Was going 45 but slowed some before I hit it. Relatively minor damage, but parts are expensive as ****. Thank god for insurance deductibles. Now I have to wait for my baby to get back and it SUCKS.

Man that sucks. I was a victim of a hit and run in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

 

I've been hit twice on my back bumper, two nice scrapes down both sides of it.

 

That sucks about your ride - too bad weren't able to id car/driver. I'm paranoid about where/how I park too (double-parking waaay away from anything, etc...) Haven't had anything happen to my Evo yet, but had lots of similar incidents with other cars. Beautiful bunch of *******s we have 'round here, eh?

 

Don't feel bad bro, I had my evo for about a month now, and some retard lost control on the highway, crossed my lane, slammed into a car, both doing 360's coming back at me, I had to slam on the brembo brakes... if it wasn't for the great handleing and stopping on the evo, I wouldn't be posting this, and the evo would of been on the totaled list with the others.

Thank you God, AWD, and brembo brakes. By the way, passenger side fender has a few nicks and my projector is scratched up, still waiting for the insurance company.. it's been 2weeks now.

 

i got owned by some black ice on the highway and at 75 mph the concrete wall not only introduced himself once but a 2nd time!!

but i got screwed like that too, i had my Evo for 2 weeks, i was headin home from work one afternoon in decent traffic, switched to the left lane and noticed the guy behind me wasnt slowin down and i felt the hit, Bush was in town so they refused to send a cop out since no one was hurt so i got ripped off there cause the guy said i cut him off and my rear tire hit his right front fender....but it was so simple to realize that wasnt the case, the only damage on my rear bumper was on the corner of the bumper, nothing but my wheel or quarter

sucks though man, they need to make some car armor for our evos like they have for the bat mobile!!

I had my MR for about two weeks and some girl slid into me! I was stopped at a red light in the snow last Friday in the left hand lane. A girl in a Grand Am apparently wasn't driving proper for the conditions. She was in the left turn lane. Instead of just rear ending the minivan next to me she pointed her car at me then hit the brakes. She slid into me then bounced off and hit the side of the van and continued between us into the intersection. Luckily it was so slippery that the car just bounced off mine and didn't do much damage. A little rubber from her tire and some easily buffed out scratches. I wish people would pay attention behind the wheel. It was frickin snowin like crazy and she was just flyin up to the light! Sorry about your car man, I was lucky I'm not in the same boat.

 

Sh.it man only a month, that sucks hope everything works out for you. People can be such fu.cks sometimes.

Yup I had mine about a month and someone hit me in the parking lot while I was out to eat back in Nov, im still waiting for my appt at the body shop to get it fixed. Its very depressing when it happens.

 

my moms boyfriend backed into the rear left side of my car going down our driveway one night. scratched up my rear door, and left two dents. one in my rear door and one right by the gas tank... his insurance covered it.
