its either one out of two things though:
1. They are right and Mitsubishi has made a serious blunder when they allowed SVA to represent them with a showroom tuned version of the MR (it would be the equivalent of AMG badly tuning a S55 Merc)
2. RCD didnt win the tender against SVA when Mitsu was looking for another UK tuning option beside the WRC famous Ralliart. (would be the equivalent of Stillen complaining about Nizmo's tuning abilites which prolly happens anyway)

Like I posted before, the stock MR JDM/UK spec already boosts to 1.6 easily and holds it in most gears, even with stock ECU and no boost controller.
The MR turbo dimensions are different from the 8/7 and is closer to the TME one. Also, the internals have been changed (cams/pistons) on the MR which may support a higher boost compared to the VIII.
