so...as of sunday ive been the happy owner of an 05' gsr in electric blue i cant wait to finish breaking it in so i can really see the power of my baby ... for now im staying stock so i dont have to worry about any of those damnd warranty issues but id like to get coilover sleeves, turbo timer, and exhaust/intake at least...(but am hesitant becuase of warranty issues...) anyways i just wanted to post saying i got one. im in the so california area

Congrats man, I know the feeling. I just got an 05 same color on Sat. Resisting the urge to push it is soo hard. I splurged and bought that extended warranty only because I didn't want to deal with any **** if anything went wrong. I plan on keeping it stock for some time as well...

congrats on your evo speaking of turbo timers, i dont think a turbo timer would void your warranty? can someone enlighten me?

 

Don't worry about the break-in, just thrash it from day one.

You have no idea how much fun you are in for. Are you going to mod the car? For $10,000 you can turn your EVO into an absolute monster that will beat almost anything, including $90,000 Porsches, $55,000 Corvettes, and even the older big bucks Ferraris.
