I know what i did sure as hell worked
I got two tickets by the same cop doing the same speed 52 in a 35. the thing to do is to call the station and keep asking for the officer. make up a reason.. find out when his day off is and then schedule the court for that day. who the hell wants to sit in court on their day off. I got out of both of his tickets

I don't think that will work in most places...the court will just continue the case to the officer's next available trial date. Cops get overtime for coming to court in most jurisdictions, anyway.

Just because there is no jury does not mean you cant have fun. I've went and helped out both my friends with there tickets and the help of the legal defense kit and we yelled out objection several times and its perfectally legal and the judge overruled everytime in our favor so just a suggestion...

Good Luck man....you're going to need it if the officer shows up. I too was cited for speeding and was paced. Certain state have certian regulations where they'll have to pace you for XXX distance, have to be XX distance away from your car and pace you for X amount of seconds. The guy that got me was a captiain in State Patrol and I couldn't prove his vehicle was faulty so the honorable judge ruled in favor of the trooper. Pacing is one of the harder ones to win in your favor. Just study the statue they are charging you with, learn as much as possible and be really ready or the prosecutor will walk all over you. I had my co-work who is a prosecutor gave me advices on how to beat my ticket and still no luck. It was an interesting experience though. Fight it, even if you lose, you're only going to pay what the ticket is so you have nothing to lose by going to court.

go to court and pay the extra court fees

since you said youdoing 35 on a 30 the judge will prolly say you are speeding

you'll never win an arugement against the cop unless you have a perfect perfect driving record

you can go in and say the cop suggested to drop the ticket for a "favor" heh, just kidding.

I would goto court and try and fight it, alot of cops dont show, unless you did something to leave a big impression.

the cops dont show up in cali where they have a differn system i belive
each ticket they gave is doesn't count as commission but in eastcoast each ticket is like a way to higher rank especilly in VA you'll always see cops show up on courtday so it all depends where he lives eventho the cops dont show they could have pushed the courtdate back
