Evo MR for $39,399 OTD? good price?

i just talked with puente hills mitsubishi 5 mins ago, and i asked for a quote for an Evo MR Graphite Grey. They gave me a price of $35,799 w/o TTL, and $39,399 OTD. is this a good deal for the MR?

also, if this helps, i will be putting anywhere from $11k to $15k down, and i told them that i can pay off the car in less than 6 months. also, i do not have much of a credit history if that helps, thats why i have to put at least that much down. let me know what you guys think about this.

I got my MR for $38 and change and that was MSRP, no mark up, and TTL. I guess they aren't trying to rip you off. Ask them to give you a break down of "Out the Door". Maybe your tax is higher then where i purchased my car. I got my MR in Fort Lauderdale, if that makes a difference.

I'd get it regardless because many dealers are asking, and getting, $4-6k over sticker. Buying the MR is like buying plywood before a hurricane, High demand not enough to go around.

Good Luck with your purchase, and I'd just go ahead and get it. You'll love it!!!!!

first of all u dont tell them wat u can pay off..... the dealer WANTS u to finance as its more profit in there pocket.... you discuss financial agreements later.

Remember we bought one before they raised MSRP on the MR

By who? Dealers will tell you anything to get you in the door.

For 39K what finance rate can they give you? If you have good credit, don't take less than 7%.

good luck on the purchase. that's seems a little much, but your taxes might be more. I put 6k down and that put me with a higher interest rate, because I was only finacing like 22-23k instead of the 29-30k that most people do. I got 4.1%(gotta love my mom's great credit) I wouldn't go to much over 6-7%. I don't really know how it would work since your gonna be paying it off so quick. just make sure you browse around some... the Mitsu dealers can be very scandalise.... good luck.

39,399......ouch.

That is over 11K more than I paid for my 03 two years ago (4 months after release). I know, the MR is better, but that price kind of hurts a little. I hope remembers us poor people and keeps a cheap Evo when the 9 comes out, and that does not include the RS. It is a nice car , but I like power windows.

Why not wait, save up the money and buy a IX without financing.
