HOLY crap!!!! Thanks a million... For the last few days while this board has been constantly up and down, I've been in search of new pictures of the Evo VIII at the LA or Detroit Auto shows but I've been unsucessful. Thank you so much these pictures are great...

By the way... Has anyone noticed how we got pretty screwed on the "Recaro" seats in our version Evo in comparison to the JDM version, among many many other little things, like the little carbon fiber badge below the stick that says EVOLUTION. Those seats are so damn ugly and unsupportive in comparison to the the JDM spec.

Also i-club have been talking alot of **** about our car ever since the specs were released on the STi. I got to admit though. The Sti is HOT, and has alot of little goodies not in our Evo. I'm now absolutly not spending a dime above MSRP for the Evo VIII because for starters I'm not in a rush to get a new car, and secondly I think I should be considering an STi if the price is right.

I also wonder where they plan on putting the license plate holder/frame. Either way I'm not going to have one on my damn car God willing I get one. I'll pay the few tickets a year (if that) I might get for not having one on the front.

Yes the Evo VIII has fog lights but in the unsuspecting position. The fogs on the Evo VIII are in the same element as the low and highbeams. Odd place to put them but certainly unique

Good eye, I didn't even notice that personally. Hopefully that one at the show was just something to give people an idea about what the car looks like up close and personal and isn't cutting corners on the production models.

i noticed that in the 360 view on the evo site, the pedals are also not the drilled blue aluminum ones.

which sucks, cause i really liked the way they looked

Were all 4g63's mounted in that orientation? It looks backwards compared to a 1g DSM.
