I had a chance to buy a Supra 6 years back but passed because it was automatic.

If it were a six speed, I wouldn't have had to post the question... I wouldn't do it for the auto. However, you could make money off the deal.

If it was manual I would have said yes since we all at one point or other wanted one. But it's an auto, so I have to say no.

I would as soon as I could. I wanted a Supra TT but they are so hard to find that I decided to get an evo.
EDIT: Just saw that it was and auto. Never mind no trade.

There are some pretty fast auto supra's out there running anywhere from 11's all the way down into the 8's so I dont know what the big deal is on it being an auto. Dont get me wrong, I like to down shift just as much as the next guy, but an auto really isnt that bad when your talking big WHP. Depending on how much power you want, you might have to have some transmission work done though. If you want a drag/highway queen the supra is the way to go. You'll end up spending more fixing AWD components than you would the supra if you plan on drag racing. Check out the supra forums and ask some auto guys if and what problems they might have had and at what HP level did the gremlins show themselves. Do your research man. Just my .02.

Honestly I would trade my evo for a supra if I had the chance. Supra's are amazing with the amount of horsepower they can put out! Just my .02

Well its seems like you weren't too sure about getting the Evo in the 1st place. I mean, you've only had it for like what, just under 2 months & you're already thinking of trading it...

So sure, go with the Supra.

As stated previously, the Evo is versitile...the practicality of it...Depends on what YOU need.

But if you want .02, I wouldnt. To me, precise steering and handling is what I've always been accustomed to....s2k's , Itrs, Evos...To me, its not just about the amount of power you can make in a car but the OVERALL feel & "balance".

Anyhow, good luck w/ your decision.
