Boost Gauge Installation

I just installed and Defi-D Boost gauge and I have one question. I followed the How-To but instead of tapping the line where the yellow circle is, I tapped it where the red circle is. Its seems to work fine. Does anyone see any problem where I tapped the line?

I actually have a boost gauge tapped on both lines. The boost gauge that came with the sports meter kit was tapped at the yellow line. I didn't like the psi measurements in metric so I have a boost gauge in psi mounted on my Apillar tapped into the line where the red circle is. Both work great and doing the math converting the bar to psi, they are both right on. In fact, the gauge tapped on the line with the red circle is actually more responsive (the needle mooves a lot quicker). I've seen boost gauges mounted on both lines and don't see a problem tapping into either line.

It's best to tap into the fuel pressure solenoid line.

And which is that? Yellow or red?

Mine's in the yellow.

I'd love advice as to how exactly to tap into the fuse box safely and appropriately for lighting... *NodNod*

... not to hijack the thread, tho ...
