I have the opportunity to purchase a very sweet evo but it's currently registered with a 2001 us lancer vin

the guy has plates for it and everything, but what I want to know is, how hard would it be for me to import this car legally once I buy it from him

I would want to register it for real so I could insure it for the real value

if someone ever hits me and ti's their fault they're gonna wonder why they're paying for a 4g63 turbo motor when the car's vin says it's NA. and the front bumper is different and all the other differences

so if anyone on the east coast or even the whole country could help me, I really need info on how to legally import a car once it's already here

and differences between a 2001 evolution 7 and a us importable car

if i were you, id go to your states website, and see what they have... i mean send them an email, i'm sure they will help you out.. your just gonan pay a lot of money i'm sure
