well it seems like there are few ppl with internet order problem since i'm pretty close to them i guess i dont need to worry about that

Just went there today for dyno time, I must say Dan is a awesome person ( I even let him take my MR for a test drive to the gas station) and the other guys there are pretty good people. They just hired two new techs, well i guess Ultimate did...Norris and Jason. Two of the very best in VA

But labor rate is still very high there... as it is anywhere in northern VA

I have had nothing but problems with these guys. It has been a matter of getting a shipping confirmation only to find out that the shipping did not include certain items and then virutally no response to my inquiries regarding if/when things were shipped.

Having modified 3 MKIV supras, 2 Evos, an E36 M3 and worked with a large number of vendors, these guys are toward the bottom in terms of responsiveness and support. Prices seemed pretty good but I would always pay more to for a more responsive vendor.

Nice guys, but daaaaamn my order took FOREVER to ship, they actually had to re-process it, so that was dissapointing to say the least. I doubt what happened is the norm though, and once they straightened that out, I got my stuff ASAP.

Mach V was a great company a few years ago, but I'm not that impressed with them anymore.

Back when you could actually call and Dan would pick up the phone, you'd get great service, clear responses, and all the extra effort he could put forth. Now you deal with other people who don't seem to care one bit about customer service. I've had nothing but bad luck with them on my WRX and now my Evo. Very slow service and not very attentive to customer orders.

I've posted before that Dan is a great guy to deal with, and I still think that. It's just his employees that make me want to not order from him again.

Dude what about the place out in Chantilly behind the Shoppers called Evolution, never had anything to take to them, but I have heard some good things about them.

That's unfortunate that you've had that experience. It's not one that I've had. Everyone I've dealt with on the phone and in person at MachV has always been professional & courteous. Dan, Danny and both Heather and Derek (when they were working there) are/were great to deal with.

I just received my 1st order from them. They need to work on the Email notification/tracking thing but the products arrived quickly and are of excellent quality. Prices maybe a touch high but it sounds like they are good people to deal with. So I give them 2 thumbs up.

It sounds like the one who was a problem for me to talk to on the phone is not there anymore.

On my latest order I called to get information. The girl who answered the phone was very nice and courteous; she just couldn't give me any information about where my stuff was or how long it would be, nor did she try to find out.

I wouldn't call their service bad exactly. I think their main issue is with communication. Everyone who mods cars knows that sometimes products are on backorder. I just think they need to do a better job of communicating that to their customers. Like I said, you always get clear information from Dan, just not the other people (in my experience).

I'd love to keep ordering from them. They are high on price on some things but they're fair on their shipping charges, so it sort of evens out. And they carry some products that are hard to find at other places. I'd just like to see them do a better job of communicating. And I hope Dan reads this topic--I intend this as constructive criticism, not vendor-bashing.

That is all.
