Smile thoughts on my evo.....

I have had my evo for about 16 months, (2 days before i got married )
and I have to say this car is by far the funnest I've ever had. The day I got it, I couldnt believe how fun and tight the car drove. Not to mention how fun it was to just WOT, shifts to god knows what speed.

I've had some issues with it, I had the typical 5th gear grind, and the dealer fixed it happily, even with my intake and MBC. (of course later they denied looking at the car, because they said the mechanic said my car was running 28 psi....on stock turbo, i dont think so, i think we all know thats not true, it was at 20.)
Anyways, other then that, my car has been pretty reliable. I have now put a full turbo back exhaust with 2.75 downpipe, and an ams test pipe. The car is not that loud, Its also been reflashed by TurboTrix, along with my mbc and buschur intake.
Since I have put these things on, MAN I cant believe the difference, it just feels way more free, it whines out and just keeps reving all the way to redline. But more then anything I love how much mid range power I have, probably attributed to the 2.75 downpipe. I love this car.

I was driving to work and I took the back way, and man this car is just so fast, and quick in the mid range 1-3 are just the perfect amount of power, I dont feel I need any more currently. I would like to do some suspension stuff to match for when I take it to the track.

But its such a balanced car and for everyone dissing mitsubishi, I mean they have there problems, but I think thier engineers, are some of the best in the industry. I mean I cant think of anyone else using the bernouli effect on creating downforce like they have on the vortext generator. The amount of stuff that comes stock on this car, and how driven by someone expierenced, it can beat some of the best supercars in the world. This just amazes me for a little japanese saloon car.

I am very happy with my evo, and hope it lasts for a while, other people diss the evo, but man you gotta pay your respects, its a perfectly balanced car for 30k.
