Hi Im a Newbie and I bought an MR back in November. Anyways I used to drive a 3000gt but I had a base so I knew it was all show and no go so I ignored all da ppl revving their engines and blinking their lights.

Anyways now I have the MR and I know I can smoke many cars out there. I live in a rural area so every kid that sees me or even some old guys want to prove somein. I usually ignore them cause usually its doofuses with their moms camry, some broke civic, or most likely some gay truck. I was wondering what does everybody else do? Feedback Appreciated

P.S. I know street racing is prohibitted.

Look at the other person, yawn, and drive on. Or, look at the other person, start chuckling, and drive on. And lastly, if you have your windows down, tell them you "Dont want to waste you clutch on them." Those are my top 3 .

think about how stupid that sounds!!!!!!!!!!! i know a guy in cali that got arrested for that. someone was messing with him in his turbo M3. GUESS WHAT??? IT WAS AN UNDERCOVER COP CRACKING DOWN ON STREET RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh by the way, they crushed his car for street racing also...

 

I mean yea droppin it into 2nd is a great option. And honestly I want to. But you know sometimes you know its not worth it. Especially when its some young teenage kid driving some front end wrecked in civic DX on stock. (Really happened to me)

I mean I dont wanna seem like a ***** but at da same time its like damn I wont even have to get outta 3rd and Ill be gone.

 

Street racing is illegal and not to be discussed on here.

 

I usually just end up shaking my head "no" at them. Most of the people in my area know how to track me down, and if they really want to race I end up inviting them to a track day. While you don't get to do any "full on door to door" at an HPDE, there generally is passing; and you can always head out together one behind the other.

It's alot safer than than the street and you don't need to worry about the local law enforcement. Or Bambi...

 

I usually look over and laugh, sometime point while laughing....

im a big fan of A) if they are respectful give them the thumbs up B) if its a ricer you can yawn or laugh but make sure they know you are directing it towards them. C) if you hit a light kick their *** to the speedlimit to show it would be no contest to race you D) if all else fails just ignore them.E) if they feel the need to follow you around stop your car get out and throw a pair of boxing gloves at them and start warming up and tell em you wanna box that should shut em up. ive been in the mood to kick some little 150lbs kids *** for a while now.

Get tinted window so you won't have to look at their dumb ***. Before I had my windows tinted, my girl and I was at a light and this civic started to rev at us and she just laughed at him. I thought that was the funniest thing in the world!

 

lol My friends and I use to carry boxing gloves everywhere we go so we can challenge people to a match.
