Hmm I was just driving today on the highway and I turned down the radio. I hear this whining type of wind noise coming from the front of the car.... I thought it might have been a timing belt or leak in my car but the sound ceases when I am going slow than 20mph... have any of you guys had this problem.. I'm not sure if it's the tires, piping, or something w/ the aerodynamics of the car.. ?

 

Is it a loud howling? Does the whinning get louder as you accelerate? If it does it probably the Transfer case. Put the car in neutral and coast if it still makes a sound, its most likely the tc.
