Special Financing

Ok, we all know is offering 0% and no payments on ALL vehicles till the end of Jan in the USA... any chance of extending that till like end of Feb so we can get it on the EVO???

I'll be out the door as soon as one is available if that's the case.

man mitsubishi has been having that promoo foreva. i bought my car last jan with that and its still up. its based on ur credit though. i think you need like a 700 rating or higher. my aunt had lke a 680 and they gave her 9 months no interest or payments.

I sure hope so... my FICUS is in the mid 700s, so that's not a problem.

FICA. You do realize that there is a close to 0% chance of them doing that financing with the Evo, right? Montero Sport and Eclipse Spyder don't have it now. They have no need to raise their exposure for equal gain on cars that they have no problems moving off lots to begin with. From the standpoint of someone who does this crap on a smaller scale every day: it doesn't make financial sense to offer an incentive like the 0 0 0 plan for the Evolution. If any dealerships do it at all I'll be truly amazed.

EDIT: And if your dealership is like mine was they pulled Trans Union which uses the Empirica scoring system. They all suck anyway. Machines just can't weigh financial risk like humans can.

You are mistaken, taken straight from www.mitsubishicars.com

" Make no payments until 2004 and never pay interest for the life of the loan. Want to get a rugged Montero or Montero Sport? A cool, new Lancer? The sophisticated Diamante? The eye catching Eclipse, just rated a 2003 Consumer Digest Best Buy for the third time in four years**? Even the adventurous new Outlander is eligible for this exciting program. For a limited time, you can get any new 2002 or 2003 model year vehicle and make no payments until 2004 and never pay interest for the life of the loan.* See your Mitsubishi Retailer today. This deal ends January 31st, 2003. "

Montero sport included and the word ANY is used generously.

Not the Evo

But...the Evo is C.O.D. only. There are not enough to go around, and has specified "for a limited time". When the Evo is released, January 31st will be but a memory...

Dealers that have not achieved a certain sales rating, will have to wait until the second round, anyway...

Ok, just as of this month's programs (Jan 7th) offers Never pay interest and no payments for a year... for the Outlanders and Spyders. That is completely new.

If any of you think that there's going to be special financing or a deferral program on the Evo's, please pass whatever you're going to be smoking to me. There's going to be nothing on the Evo's and you'll need to do any financing through an outside bank. It's the same way that the Outlanders were when they first came out.

To even more prove the point, there isn't even any employee discount programs on the Evo's either. I know that makes some people kinda disappointed.

He is right!! Mistu WILL!! not offer 0 0 0 on the evo...it is almost a given...I used to be a mitsu salesman....there is not a chance in the world they are gonna offer that on the evo....get outta dream world and back into reality. Ask yourself this! Why would mitsu do 0 0 0 on a car that has laready sold at least half of this years allotment of cars? Think about it. It ain't gonna happen....!

If they do I'll eat my words. Considering how many they ALREADY have sold, it really doesn't make sense for them to. Don't get your heart set on it is all I'm saying.

I asked the sales manager last week, at the place I'm getting my Evo. He said that just like the Montero and the spyder, the Evo will fall outside the 0 0 0 financing deal.

I've got to back up my other Mitsu employed counterparts here in saying the EVO will not have ANY incentives on it of any kind.

Why the hell should it?!?!

The 3000GT was *always* excluded from the 0% offer.

Don't expect the EVO to have 0%.

I'll be driving an evo as well if that happens.

But back to reality, there's no way in hell they'll 0-0-0 the evo.
