Option B

I used the nipple coming off the compressor housing because that is what the instructions said to do for the Hallman MBC.

I have seen many off of the vacumn line for the BOV but have heard lately about going directly to the Compressor housing this prevents the blow off valve from partially opening under light boost.

At the Turbo Compressor housing because that is the proper place to install it.

i put it on the turbo nipple persee the instructions from my perrin MBC.
follow the instructions for your boost controller.

before reading the instructions i tried putting it off a TEE from the bov one source and that would never hold any boost and would go to 26+psi

On the turbo nipple also 'cause that's what the instructions said. Works great, no problems.

Between the intake manifold and the BOV, because I want my boost based off manifold pressure rather than compressor outlet pressure (pre-intercooler).

i T'd my hallman off of the BOV source. I haven't tried off the nipple yet, it was late and seemed easier coming off the BOV at the time. i'll try it off the compressor and see if i notice any difference. boost seems to hold fine so far, but i haven't put many miles on the car since i installed it.

I have used both ways. I see no difference in either way regarding spiking, tapering, etc. I recommend you use the turbo housing because it is a much cleaner install and you don't have to hack any lines.

If you use the turbo housing, you will be safer on the motor and turbo. You will see more boost on your gauge than the motor is seeing because of pressure loss between the turbo and intake so things will last longer.

I just realized this is why I lost 11 HP from my last dyno to my recent one. I switched the MBC from the BOV line to the turbo line, thought my boost was the same, but in reality, it is a pound or so lower. Cool!
