http://www.roadraceengineering.com/e...-ecuwiring.htm should help ya out, and pin 78 is the one you want for the signal.

so i didnt hook up the knock signal and started the car and it runs pretty rough at idle. i check the knock signal on the safc and it was reading about 270ish. if i hook up the knock signal will the car run better? all setting points were at 0

So the signal wire for knock is not hooked up yet you are getting knock readings? Did you solder all your connections or did you just used t-taps? And did you install anything else at the same time that you installed the s-afc? If I were you I would recheck all the connections against the ecu pin out sheet in the above link to make sure that there isnt some crossed wires aswell.

i used the field harness and the wires that were colored and labeled. nothing else hooked up on the car. and its getting the knocking signal without the knocking signal wire hooked up. is the field wires labeled diffrent than what they really are? i dont think that i should be getting a knock signal if the safc knock wire isnt hooked up.
