Question Evo 7 conversion?

if you change the front bumper of the evo 8 to the evo 7's bumper, i think you'll have to change the hood too. b/c the lines on the hood wouldn't match up to the grill.

thats is if the bumper fits. which i think it will.

i dont know. might as well do the rear bumper too. the evo 7 bumpers are lighter anyways. isn't it why the evo 8 weighs more?

It's the steel beam behind the bumper that weighs a lot. You might have to hack off the beam to get the 7 bumper to work.

hacking off the beam wouldn't be smart though
you crash and it's

I just wouldn't do it IMHO

Id rather add more power to overcome the weight and drive a safer car. "Even if you spin out into the dirt and lose the race and your sponsership at least you live to race another day."

I believe that removing the foam piece from the bumper should allow the EVO 7 bumper to be put on, that piece protrudes rather far. Or maybe the JDM bumper beams will help? Jut my thoughts....

I would imagine that EVO 7 bumper kits will become available once the EVO 8 hits the streets. As will Ver 7 headlights, taillights, hoods, etc (I would imagine)... PLUS, version 1-6 body kits and whatnot. The EVO should have a massive amount of aftermarket upgrades.

However, I could be wrong...
