custom dynoflash vs xflash

I need some advice before I jump in.

I use my car for street driving only, my only mod is a 3 inch turboback exhaust, I am now going to get the car flashed. I really look foward to the extra power, but I do not want to sacrifice safety.

I have done the searches and I am torn bewteen an Xflash or a custom tune with Al at dynoflash.
It seems that Shiv's flash uses a 2 stage boost level control, below 4800rpm higher boost and above 4800, stock level boost with additional fuel and spark management at this point.
Al seems to put in a delay allowing the car to maintain its boost. He also runs a/f around 11.

My question is , for my level of mods and my requirements, power for power, which approach is safer?

I had XFlash from Shiv, got great power, and never had a single problem. I know several others who've had the same thing XFlash.

Just my experience.

I don't know if it'd be worth your drive, but there is a custom tuning day @ Dyno4mance coming up soon. Shiv will be there to custom tune cars.

Out of your two choices, I highly recommend Vishnu tuning.

Ditto...Vishnu's tuning is top notch, tuned w/ safety in mind, dyno tested w/ long runs under heavy load.

I had an XFlash from Shiv and couldn't be happier. I gained an extra 32whp (as measured on the Vishnu DD) but the real benefit came from the change to the driving dynamics; better pick-up, more mid range torque and holding boost. I only have a muffler delete and would guess you'd pick up more whp with a turboback.

Good luck with your choice.

Seen too many baseline Xflashes blow custom tune Dynoflashes away on the dyno to not believe. With custom tuning on the Xflash, its over. Best part is the Xflash is running less boost.. LOL.

In the end a lot more people will vote Dynoflash because its uber economical and that's what a lot of them run. The old addage: "you get what you pay for" rings true here.

Yeah, this really has been beaten to death. However, I'd agree with Noize you get what you pay for. I learned that a long time ago when doing mods to my cars. Plus Shiv has been doing this stuff for a long time, some of the others out there are noobs.

Think we should keep this too personal experiences, since that's what was asked for.
