Which exhaust is best for the EVO?

I heard the best way to go (h/p wise and no back pressure) is a straight pipe...but then i also heard cat-backs are better. but then i heard cat back exhaust on turbo cars give turbo lag.... anyone really know whats the best thing to do!?!?

straight pipe? catbacks do not increase lag. Larger diameters mean less low end and more top end. Less low-end due to less back pressure. Your car would benefit way more with a full TB but i'm sure you knew that.

busted solution's also supply exhaust to the starship enterprise, it made it go from warp to warp nine.
50 hp? whatever, in your dreams, i want to see the magic exhaust, i know, it's not a turbo back, but a header back!

Not really, the bigger the better with turbos, proper tuning of cousre is required. Better on top and off idle as well. After looking for a long time I finally settled on a AMS system. After I get the tax return it is mine. 50 HP is not possible with an exhaust on this car. The upper limit on power is no exhaust at all. With supporting mods yes.

1. it is nicely made
2. pretty light
3. pretty quite
4. straight exit exhaust (more stealthy)
5. great sound.
6. flanged system
7. Matching downpipe that uses the stock exhaust donut for sealing.
8. The stock cat will attach to the down pipe and catback with supplied adaptors.
9. Repalcing the stock cat with a HF cat or test pipe makes it 3” staright through system.
10. good power
11. a fine company to deal with.

Best I heard of was about 25 HP for most cars. With a bunch of mods then eventually you will hit 50 from the exhaust.
