How much power is YOUR Evo making? - POLL
This thread is a great idea but the incredible variance in readings from dyno to dyno really make it pointless, unfortunately. Here in NorCal for example a lot of us visit Vishnu, Gruppe-S and EIP. Very few Evos hit 300whp on those dynos on the stock turbo. The ones that do often are catless and/or running race gas. This reason is why local forums are really the best place to discuss power numbers. If I post that I hit 281whp/284wtq on EIP's Mustang dyno there's always at least 5 or 6 keyboard racers who feel an obligation to let me know that either the tune, my car, or my mods are not dialed in. The fact of the matter is that my car is much stronger than their Evo that put down 325whp/330wtq on a local Dynodynamics dynamometer. It's all relative so unless we know what stock '03/'04 Evos, stock '05 Evos and stock '06 Evos average on your local dyno none of us should be any more impressed with 350whp than 250whp.
