How much below msrp? 1k 2k? Seems that Mitsubishi would have some incentives going on now.

they do have incentives...just not for the evo. the evo is a niche car where the price doesn't seem to turn away the few people that want them.

the price you could get one for depends on the dealer and their stock. when buying mine, the dealers seemed to want to deal more on the GSR than the MR or RS. for the MR, don't expect to leave the lot with a price any lower than sticker (if you're looking for a graphite grey, talk them down to the sticker of the other colors).

the mark up on these cars hovers around the $1500-2000 mark so the dealers aren't jumping to sell them for anything less than sticker.

I almost bought an 05 wicked white on Jan 2nd. Mitsubishi was having a national sale that ended the following day. They had three whites on the lot and were willing to sell one of them to me for $1400 below invoice (which I assume meant that they were giving up their dealer holdback just to make a quota in time). They now have four whites on the lot. If you buy right at the end of the month and if it's been a slow day sales wise, you can get a great deal. Depends on the dealership inventory, though.

re: prices...

you probably wont pay below msrp unless u have friends in HIGH places...or just go to SAN RAFEL MITSUBISHI they'll take care of you...i payed msrp for my MR 36,096, but here in sac they wanted 45,495 or something stupid like that(9,000 over msrp) because they're "limited" FU*K that ***SAN RAFEL MITSU ROCKS***

Where do you see this? The absolute cheapest I could find in my area 2 weeks ago when I bought mine was 24,000.

Don't even joke about that 18,000 crap, this isn't an SRT-4, it retains resale =p
