You got what you paid for...They pay 10Gs more for a 6-spd MT, nicer seats and some other goodies.

Mitsubishi will be judging and adjusting their marketing plan and sales according to the sales of the EVO...so a better, more powerful model might be down the road...who knows?

 

Well Ralliart UK is definitely putting out the FQ packages. I asked the representant for info on the car at the show and he hardly knew anything since he had just gotten it and it was the European unveiling. I also asked him if Ralliart was moving to the US and introducing the FQ packages. He said he wasn't sure since his branch was the UK one but he told me not to dismiss it. He said first step was to bring the Evo there.
Take this whichever way u want, you don't have to believe him, but i'm faithful..

 

Looks like a cubby hole....I don't see anything that makes it look like a lcd screen. Nor do I see anything on any spec sheet for the UK car that shows it has a navi system.

And besides, wouldn't the addition of a navi system seem to go against all that is the Evo?

it might not be a navi system - it could be a multi-function display similar to that found in the Skyline... you never know...

 

IMO i think they trying to keep the price of the Evo as close to the wrx for competition... 40k is alot more thatn 24k... but they should have an evo with all those goodies for the people who have the $

 

Well i was there and it definitely is an LCD screen. The sheet with specs had a section where it says "Dealer Fitted Options Available: FQ upgrade and Coordinating accessories". I don't know if that means Navigation system.

 

I think the thing that sucks the most is that they are getting a 6 speed and we aren't!

 

Very Nice but I still love the EVO 5 best of all. But the EV0 8 has a 6-speed
