Question How Loud Is The EVO's Exhaust?

it may be too soon to ask, but does anyone know how loud the EVO sounds? my eclipse gt stock sounds "fart-can", but my laser rs turbo (4g63 stock exhaust) is quiet but fast.

I can't tell you about the evolution's exhaust but I did ride in an ei evo VII and the only thing that was really loud was the hks blow off valve everytime Adam shifted, other than that it wasnt loud at all and that was with the performance exhaust.

EDIT: by evolution i meant the U.S. Lancer Evolution

i love the sound of the blow off valve, i was just wondering how close i am going to be to my house when my dog can hear me coming, or if the local mounties will be able to triangulate on the roar of my exhaust and try to catch me.

hey that thing got a hemi?.........................sweeeeeeeeet!

So your getting an evo?? Thats cool, yeah I don't think you'll have any problem with local officials, but I guess you never know for sure untill you go hear it for yourself, but my intuition tells me it wont be that loud.

uh no...the GA's r not supercharged...there is a version of the Grand Prix called the GTP that is supercharged...

if your stereo or exhaust can be heard more than 50 ft away they can cite u down here...fine is atleast 100 bucks and can go up depending on how far away it can be heard

Funny, but here in CA (don't know if it applies elsewhere), them damn Harley Davidson riders have exhausts that can be heard from a helluva long way. I'm at home and I can sometimes hear them damn things.

Um yes, Harly's downtown, while echoing through the high rises can be heard 10 blocks away, not to mention an over abundance of coffee cans being heard everywhere. The cops here couldn't care less. I seriously doubt many people are going to have problems with the stock Evo's muffler, regardless of police anality.

50ft, wtf I can hear my system from 100yards!! My bad on the GA I could have sworn that there was a blown version, but thanks for setting me straight.
