Weapon R engine dampner ????

i have had one of these on my car for about 3 months. the dampner really helps smooth out the car, but the other day i was installing my upper greddy ic pipe and noticed that the bracket is bending towards the front of the car after the bolts.... has anyone else noticed this yet? i took the end loose and turned the cylinder to make sure the rod was not seized up. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. post up if you have, i may try to fabricate a heavier duty bracket or brace this one a little better if nobody has experienced this. later, david

That's not good. I hope this is not a sign of early failure. I was thinking of purchasing this item myself.

yeah I noticed that mine was starting to bend too. Can't notice it much until you look at it in bright light.

I don't think it's an earyly sign of failure (yet) but I think I can avoid any further problem by upgrading the engine mounts once I find some.

If you guys purchased this item from us (as we are the major distributor for these), please let me know via PM, and we will work with Weapon R on getting this resolved for you guys.

Thanks!
