Rage Against the Traffic Cops!
hahah, that's awesome!
Just look out though. The cop will probably be on the lookout waiting for you to do something wrong and then he'll write you a ticket for everything he can think of.

That's great. Good work.
But the problem is, it's like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. One cop got stymied in his effort to trap motorists for one hour. While you deserve kudos for doing it, we need a more global solution to the national epidemic of speed traps and enforcement of ridiculously underposted speed limits as a revenue raising device for municipalities.
It needs to be changed at the legislative level. The National Motorists Assn. is at least trying to lobby Congress for more rational traffic laws.

I respect most officers. Have a bunch of cops who get coffee at my local 7-11 and they are great. Even took one for a ride in the Evo. I have also had run ins with not so nice officers. Just like people, cops vary too. I'm down with what you did, but boy was that risky.

MORON??-i hope you know theibault and are just messing w/ him
1.all cops are not on traffic duty ,they do other things like fight violent crime, help victims of domestic abuse, and try to stop a drug dealer from selling that s*it to your kids(so throwing the word moron out when someone says they respect cops ,just makes you the moron)
2.hoping that someone is poisoned -come on now are you a teenager?i bet if your evo got stolen you would be on the phone so quick to those " tax-collecting donut-eating bastards!!!"
3.i agree that speed limits are underrated(based on surveys from the past)and traffic cops do work to generate funds for municipalities, but when you drive down PCH at a 100+ on christmas and risk the lives of innocent people that didnt agree to be on the "track" you just created, thats just irresponsible and immature
4.as someone who goes to the track all the time im suprised that your so "outraged" that you cant have your way all the time and drive however fast you want, and just accept that laws are in place for a reason-and tracks are there for a reason
5.im no stranger to harrassment and have had my share but the good aspects of police outweigh the bad, period.

Sure enough I head off our military base and he's setting 75 yards right from the front gate running laser and for once I had enough. After running uturns around him 6 times testing out the blinder m-20 like I always do and seeing his constant confused look, I headed back to the store. I purchased the biggest blank poster I could find as did my friend. On mine I wrote in huge letters "SLOW DOWN" and my friend wrote "PIG AT WORK SLOW DOWN". We proceeded to just out of his line of site, went in to a local store told the owner what we where gonna do and he was very much in our favor. "I hate that $*c#e*" was his quote. So we sat there on the edge of his buisness right by the main road for a good hour sticking it to the man. The best part is the cop caught on and came up and started trying to haressess telling us we could not do this. We told him we had the permission of the owner and frankly to **** off. He huffed and puffed jiggled his donut filled gut and took off. So now everytime they do this we will be out taking action. Pictures coming when I get back from my trip, of the whole thing and the cop bike parked next to our signs. Priceless

In any case, the standard reply to the officer is that you hit the windshield washer lever and you get them confused between your different cars as each is different. It will be his word against yours and in most cases he will not have proof (ie a picture of you flashing the lights.)
If I get a ticket for flashing, that isstill no points & cheaper and I probably get to save a person from getting points taken away. As long as the 5% of people keep on flashing me, I'll flash them (please don't take that sentance out of context!)
