Yellow all the way, screw all the other colers (not really they are all cool too)

Blue by you all the way, all though yellow is nice youll also be getting more attention from the cops an unwanted attention getter.

 

I know this thread is kind of old, but after visiting my local dealers I've found the only colors around here are silver, red, and black. YES, they are all gorgeous , but I've always been partial to metallic blue cars.

But looking at some pictures of the blue Evo, the blue looks too light colored, almost like a slightly darker 'sky' blue, not the deep metallic blue I love on sports cars.

Anyone seen a blue Evo8 in person? Have any pictures, so I can compare? I'm shopping one right now, and trying to decide if I should wait for another shipment or buy up one of the silver/red/black ones.

I should actually retract this post; Shortly after posting my message we decided to drive out to another dealer in the area who supposedly only got one yellow Evo. Low and behold, there in their showroom was a blue one.

I must say, the blue in person (at least at dusk) looks VERY nice, very rich colored, but not too dark as to hide the lines of the car. Very similar to what most people were saying in the thread I found this morning about the blue Evo parked in Mitsu's coporate lot.

Now I'm torn! But there's no sunroof in the blue Evo, so I'm leaning towards one of the others. Either way, I can't lose

I think the blue is too plain..it needs metallic..maybe b/c I like the look for the WR blue on the WRX and STi.

I'm kind of torn between the black and the silver. How hard is the black to keep clean? Also, in hot states does the color of the car really affect the temp inside the car?

 

Black is the hardest to keep clean and absorbs the most heat from the sun.
I also think the Evo should be offered in some metallic colors. A darker metallic red, metallic blue, and dark metallic grey would be nice. The colors offered are pretty plain.

 

i'd go for yellow if i can afford one but since i ca't i'll stay with my yellow OZ

I personally think Weightless white is the best, and Im lucky enough to have one!!!!!!!!!!!

The white makes it look like a different car, kind of classy looking.
