Has anyone had a problem with clutch fluid loss?

This is the second time this has happened to me. The banjo fitting on the slave cylinder is leaking. When the clutch is depressed the pedal goes all the way to the floor and a puddle develops under the car. I had taken the car in for the repair once before and they said they replaced the slave cyl and the hard line, but... Anyway, these guys said this is the first and last service for my vehicle due to mods. Well, explain to me how cams and pipes can affect a clutch line?!? Gimme a breaK!!!

The point being...has anyone had this problem with their clutch before? Luckily, I can get a smokin' deal for the slave cyl and hard line...under 50 bucks. Man, these cars are maintenance fiends!

P.S. Don't ask if I have an aftermarket clutch, I don't. All, I have is the Vishnu v390 package.

No, but I did have a problem where if I push in the clutch pedal while cornering hard (I know it's usually not recommended but I was screwing around trying to get the car unsettled) I got air in the clutch line. The clutch pedal was funky for a few shifts after that.

Funny that you mention this...

I have a leaking Slave Cylinder... and Mitsu will not warranty the part or the labor. I filed a complaint with NHTSB over this. I suggest that anyone else with slave cylinder problems do the same. If you have had to replace the slave cylinder, save reciepts and if found to be a defective part, Mitsu will be forced to reimburse you. To cover yourself, you should also file with NHTSB by calling them (takes 10 minutes) at : 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).
I personally am replacing my clutch with ACT and new slave cylinder, and hoping there is enough outcry that a recall will be issued.

There is 14 complaints online right now RE: clutches for Lancers/EVO's, I have placed them on my site: http://www.sumdumguy.com/trouble
