It's already been decided. The car is up for sale.
After I sell the house and get situated at my new job, this is what I'm going with. Rossa Corsa Ferrari 360 Modena with the plain black interior.
Happy trails.

dude you are a freaking idiot, the evo makes its peak boost at 2500-2800 rmps and saying that the 8.8:1 compression limits the boost is stupid, the boost is limited to that because of immissions, the jap spec evos make about 25 psi. and i do believe that there are people in this forum pushing more than that. lowering the compression any more will make the car slower. learn to drive the car and then get back to us about what kind of car it is. idiot

Do you even own an evo? Doesn't sound like it to me.
High compression, hahahahahaha!

I am very interested to see what you will say about the 360 Modena. If no one objects to you posting coments about your new car here. I would love to see what your top 10 list will be with the 360 Modena. Judging from this post I'm sure you'll have grips with your new car too. I'll help get you started. Let us know what I left out.

It is a euro spec that was brought in and converted.
He is selling to buy a 430.
Here is a pic from last sunday.
4. Engine Life
5. Speeding ticket costs
6. Missing to rear seats
7. ....
But on a serious note, I do know what you mean buy steering effort. When I first drove an evo, I was surprised because I had to use 2 hands to turn the wheel when I backed out if my driveway. Mind you, it was also a time when I was more out of shape and I had grown used to driving my parents Lexus ES300 and Acura MDX, which are obviously luxery cars that are uper easy to drive. I started working out about a month ago and gained about 7 pounds of muscle mass, mostly in the arms and pecs; I doubt I'll have the same problem next time I go driving
. Also, you must have some sort of issue with boost, becuase the car I drove had it right away at 3200 rpms, and it has heavily beat on. Well, it's a shame to have another evo owner leave, but good luck with your Ferrari...I'm sure it's the betetr car for you.

2. The clutch engagement is too high. I would like to lower it about an inch. It takes too long to engage the clutch because of the long pedal travel.
3. The steering effort is too heavy. I want it to be a little lighter. Yes, I know some people complained that it's too quick and too light, but not for me. Road feel is good, but I would like a little bit less effort for quick turning lock-to-lock.
4. The turbo lag is really getting to me. On-throttle response above 4,000 RPM is okay, but if I drop it a gear too low, it'll take a long time for the boost to come back.
5. Throttle response is poor. I attribute that to the high-compression motor. Comes with the territory, but I demand instant response.
6. The car tracks with cracks in the road easily. It's fine if you don't try to correct for it, but it can catch you off-guard if you're not careful.
7. The bumpsteer is getting too unbearable. Hit a little bump and the wheel gets jerked out of your hand. I wonder what the scrub radius is.
8. It weighs too much. You can feel the weight holding you back in tight corner (1st and slow 2nd gear corners) transitions. Best to induce power oversteer and pitch it in, or the car will understeer in the sharp transitions.
9. The car sits too tall. Cornering is flat, but you do feel some body lean and it can get floaty over rough pavement.
10. 3rd gear is too tall. 1st and 2nd are okay, but 3rd seems too flat. It needs to go up a tooth or two.
I'm still looking for faults

I suggest you sell the car to someone who will appreciate it and buy yourself a Toyota Scion XA or XB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Evo is the best and most fun to drive car I have ever owned
I've never said this to anyone on this board... BUT I'll make a special case for you...
