ok i need some 1 to ansore this for me. in the eclipse / talon dident the 4g63 come with a 4g63 t and non trubo.

i think what u posed only applies to second gen eclipses not first gens. I believe the first gens had a 4G63 along with other cars like the dodge colt and the older galants (non turbo of course)

 

dont forget about the 7 bolt turbo motors!

 

yes in the 1g there are the 4g63 non turbo and the 4g63 turbo engines. looks the same minus obviously turbo stuff. compression is different, cams different, and obvious stuff that only turbo cars have. 2g has the 4g63 turbo only. there is the 4g64 which is the closest to it which is just a SOHC engine with a .4 lt of extra displacement (same cast iron block). people use the cranks out of it to use for cheap stroker kits.

 

Ig 4G63 NA motors also did not have oil squerters to cool off the pistons from the turbo.
