that's a pretty good idea.

the only problem is you're blocking a lot of valuable bass flow.

you should also take off that plastic center piece your amps are mounted to.

the bass will go straight thru to the thin recaro's.

 

Ever consider mounting on the back deck by the rear window? Lots of room, but everyone will see them there.

 

if there was any more bass flow with my 500/1 and JL 12w6v2 then it would be downright annoying... there's actually a piece of wood back there that the AMPs are mounted to... without it there would be nothing sturdy enough to mount the AMP to

Nice setup! I have the same amps. I was wondering about the large gauge wire, what gauge is it? It looks a hell of a lot larger than a 2 gauge to me. I am going to do a simliar install but I haven't settled on the look that I want. I'll be using a Directed cap, and I'm going to go with all Stinger accessories for the install though.
