ANy of you guys get a knocking sound (or thump) from the rear when you shift (usually first gear)? The sound is not too loud.

My brake pedal was adjusted wrong from the factory. I could stop at lights and signs without the brake lights coming on. After moderate pressure they would come on. I had a few people get out of their cars to tell me i didnt have any brake lights...thats how I first figured it out. Obviosly unsafe...lol. Under Warranty.

I adjusted mine by myself, just a few clicks out on the switch, rather then make an appoitment and waste half a day, and then get told my warranty is void for intake.

That happened to me too... I didn't know that was a problem, thought it all evo's did that. When I press the pedal down lightly no light comes on but it eventualy will come on. Do you have RS/GSR/MR? Mine is an MR. Makes me pretty nervous when I got some *** tailgaiting me and I break and no lights come on...

I hit 1100 miles in the first week of owning this car. i'm still on stock clutch and it's running as strong as ever.

Mine did the same thing, the squealing from light braking. I just changed my driving style or should I say "braking style" and mine havent squealed AT ALL since. It was REALLY pissing me off at first though
