EVO IX goes on sale in Japan today
i like the looks of the suspension level.... all USA Evo's to date have that huge fender gap in the front... that picture doesn't have the horrible gap.. wheels are lighter than the MR wheels too.... that is nice!

Looks like they are. I wonder how much more it'll cost than the 8 considering all the stuff it'll have...I know they will most likely take alot off, but things like the new seats, the wheels, etc.. should add quite some dollar
. And look...they even have a short antenna standard now

wonder how long it will take for the bumper to be available in japan? I have a friend there who can probably get one for me. One question though. Will the jdm evo 8 rear bumper fit the US evo 8? has anyone tried it?

If all the US MRs have been sold (with a ~36k sticker price) Mitsu knows that there is a market for a more "up-scale" version of the Evo. Also given the poor performance of the $ you can bet there's going to be some kind of price hike. I wouldn't be surprised if they make leather standard on the GSR and adopt the 6 speed etc. and drive the price up to around $35k for the "standard" US Evo.
